Code Geass Picture Drama: Kiseki no Birthday

On December 5, 2009, Tokyo International Forum held a Code Geass event centering around Lelouch’s birthday. The DVD/Blu-Ray release of the footage and bonus features came out April 23, 2010. One of the bonus features was a picture drama.

The picture drama takes place after the events of R2. It begins with a terrorist attack on the school, Milly reports however, that most of the forces have been neutralized and the students are safe. Inside Rivalz, Suzaku, Lelouch, Kallen, Nina, and Nunnally are together. Lelouch claims that now he understands happiness and thanks everyone not for yesterday or tomorrow but for today. He slowly fades away with everyone gazing on. They realize that Lelouch emerged before them because it was his birthday, December 5, and a miracle occurred. They all agree that the miracle he gave the world was peace. Then it shows the lives of Kallen, Nina, and Nunnally. Kallen continues to work with the Gurren, noting now she can’t get over Lelouch, even if she wanted to. Nina thanks Shirley for being her friend and Nunnally working with the leaders of the world, says she and Rollo would have been good friends because they shared their love for Lelouch. At the end Suzaku wishes Lelouch a Happy Birthday.

Notice that all the high world leaders are lolis. Just wanted to note that >_>.

For more information of the actual event, here’s a pretty good accounting from an attendee: http://community.livejournal.com/code_geass/1513500.html . For actual purchasing of the Blu-Ray, here’s a site I found while googling: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BCXE-241.
